Where and how did we start ?

Foremost, let me thank you our highly esteemed partners, stakeholders and readers for your support, visit and encouragement. Without you, we can only do just a little towards our thrust. Permit me to take you through our cradle days. The name VECHI is an acronym taken from the names of two of our Directors while VECHI PLUS is an expanded horizon accommodating other Directors and the assignments and or calling.

VECHI Charity begun way back in 1999 through the support of Om'Oba Jerry Adesewo in Maitama /Wuse 2 area of Abuja when we delighted in giving free food and defending the interest of physically and emotionally abused women. Progressively, our team begun to encourage women to go back to school for finishing lessons.

Why are we considered as Charity?

Going by one or many definitions of a charity as listed below, we stand convinced that we are involved in Charitable works:

1. VECHI has earned the subtle support of friends, family members and members of its whatsapp business platform through words of encouragement, material support and funding.

2. VECHI has earned the trust of people who see some of its activities as an organization which raises money in order to help people who are sick or very poor, abused or who have a disability.

3. VECHI does things and trading activities and somefor charity, you do it in order to raise money for one or more charitable organizations.

4. At VECHI, we are full of love for humanity. The charity arm of VECHI has a primary objective titled towards philanthropy and social well-being of the oppressed and needy

5. Our Edutainment arm loves to support educational, religious or other activities serving the public interest or common good of the needy.
